CPS offers Low vision to Central Coast residents

The Center for the Partially Sighted is now providing services to the Central Coast at Envision Optometry, 1245 Broad Street, San Luis Obispo 805-863-4234

Jason Chang, O.D., can help you to maximize your remaining sight through the use of low vision devices, video magnifiers and computer technology. In addition, the Center can provide rehabilitation services that include independent living skills training to help you better perform daily living activities, such as cooking or managing medications. We also offer diabetes management training and orientation and mobility instruction in your home.

Future plans include offering peer telephone support or counseling by a licensed therapist by phone to those who need help with the adjustment to living with impaired sight.
