Community Lectures
Staff members can provide information about vision loss and low vision rehabilitation services to groups, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, diabetes nurse educators, senior center staff, school districts, VH teachers, and the general public. We also make presentations to service groups, such as the Lions or Rotary, to inform them about vision rehabilitation programs. The Public Education Department offers two publications: the large print Sightlines, with information for people with impaired sight, and EyeWitness, a standard size print newsletter that updates supporters about The Center and its programs. For more information about our Public Education program, to schedule a speaker, or to be placed on our mailing list, please call us at 310-988-1970, ext. 128 or use our Contact Us form.
