Providing through your Will or Life Insurance

Bequests and Planned Gifts – Have you planned for the future? A bequest is a relatively easy way to ensure the future of our mission to serve partially sighted people.

There are three basic ways to name the Center in your will:

  1. Give a specific dollar amount - the best option if you update your will regularly and are certain the funds will be ample for your other beneficiaries.
  2. Specify a certain percentage of your estate - this ensures your gift adjusts with fluctuations in your estates value.
  3. Make a residuary bequest - giving the balance of your assets after providing for your loved ones.

You can also name the Center as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy that you may no longer need.

If you would like more information about providing for the Center in your estate, call your attorney, financial advisor or the Center at (310) 988-1970 ext 137.

Volunteer Opportunities

Center volunteers include fully sighted, partially sighted, and blind people of all ages who wish to share their knowledge, skills, talents, time and concern. The hours are flexible, and the rewards can be tremendous. Volunteer opportunities include:
